Welcome to Palms La Union.

These Terms and Conditions govern reservations, stays, use of the property, facilities, website, and services provided by Palms La Union.

By making a reservation, paying a reservation fee, checking in, or using the property or its facilities, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, together with the applicable Booking and Reservation Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. RESERVATIONS

Reservations are subject to availability and the specific room, rate, package, and conditions applicable to the booking.

A reservation is considered confirmed once the required reservation payment has been received and the reservation has been confirmed by Palms La Union or the applicable booking platform.

Guests are responsible for providing accurate information when making a reservation.

Special requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed by Palms La Union.

2. RATES AND CHARGES

Rates are based on the room, dates, number of guests, package, promotion, and booking channel selected.

Additional charges may apply for:

* Additional guests
* Additional services
* Special requests
* Approved events or activities
* Property damage
* Missing items
* Excessive or deep cleaning
* Unauthorized use of facilities or equipment
* Other charges attributable to the guest or their party

Applicable taxes and charges shall be handled in accordance with applicable Philippine laws and regulations.

3. PAYMENT AND INVOICING

Guests are responsible for settling all reservation balances and additional charges according to the applicable booking terms.

Palms La Union shall issue the applicable invoice or tax documentation in accordance with current Philippine tax and invoicing requirements. Under current BIR regulations, an invoice is the principal document evidencing the sale of goods or services. (BIR CDN)

Guests requesting tax documentation should provide accurate billing information when required.

4. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

Cancellation, refund, and rebooking requests are governed by the Palms La Union Refund and Cancellation Policy and the specific conditions applicable to the reservation.

Bookings made through third-party platforms may also be subject to the applicable platform’s policies.

5. THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS

Reservations made through Agoda, Booking.com, Airbnb, travel agencies, or other third-party booking channels may be subject to the terms and conditions of the respective platform.

Where payment was collected by a third-party platform, refunds and payment reversals may need to be processed through that platform.

6. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Guests must comply with the published check-in and check-out times.

Valid identification may be required upon check-in.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

Guests must settle all outstanding balances and applicable charges before departure.

7. OCCUPANCY

Guests must comply with the standard and maximum occupancy of their selected accommodation.

The maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded.

Additional guest charges may apply when the number of guests exceeds the standard occupancy but remains within the maximum permitted capacity.

Undeclared guests may be subject to applicable additional guest charges.

8. CHILDREN AND INFANTS

Children and infants are welcome subject to the occupancy and policies applicable to the selected accommodation.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of minors at all times.

Complimentary child policies do not permit the maximum occupancy of a room to be exceeded.

9. PETS

Pets are permitted only in accommodations where pets are specifically allowed and subject to the applicable pet policy and fee.

Guests are responsible for any damage, disturbance, injury, waste, or additional cleaning caused by their pets.

10. VISITORS

Visitors must comply with Palms La Union’s registration, capacity, operating-hour, and access requirements.

Visitors are not automatically considered registered overnight guests.

Overnight visitors must be declared and may be subject to applicable additional guest charges.

Guests are responsible for their visitors.

11. GUEST CONDUCT

Guests must behave respectfully toward other guests, employees, and the property.

The following are prohibited:

* Excessive noise
* Unauthorized parties or events
* Illegal activities
* Fighting or threatening behavior
* Harassment or abuse of staff or guests
* Unauthorized commercial activities
* Smoking or vaping in prohibited areas
* Tampering with safety equipment
* Unauthorized use of facilities or equipment
* Conduct that creates a safety, health, security, or property risk

12. PARTIES AND EVENTS

Parties, events, productions, photo shoots, commercial activities, and organized gatherings require prior approval.

A room reservation does not automatically authorize a party or event.

Unauthorized gatherings may be stopped immediately.

Guests may be charged for approved event-related services, security, cleaning, damages, or other applicable costs.

13. SMOKING AND VAPING

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in designated non-smoking areas.

Guests may be charged for cleaning, deodorizing, restoration, or damage resulting from smoking or vaping in prohibited areas.

14. PROPERTY DAMAGE AND MISSING ITEMS

Guests are responsible for taking reasonable care of the room, furnishings, fixtures, equipment, and other property.

Guests may be charged for damage, loss, breakage, or removal of Palms La Union property caused by the guest, their party, or their visitors.

Charges may include reasonable repair, replacement, labor, transportation, cleaning, restoration, or other necessary costs.

15. EXCESSIVE AND DEEP CLEANING

Additional cleaning charges may apply when a room requires cleaning substantially beyond normal housekeeping.

Examples include excessive spills, stains, bodily-fluid contamination, excessive waste, pet-related cleaning, smoking-related odor or residue, or other excessive mess.

Deep / Excessive Cleaning: Actual cost, minimum ₱5,000.

Where the actual cost of cleaning or restoration exceeds ₱5,000, the guest may be charged the actual reasonable cost.

16. KITCHEN AND PROPERTY EQUIPMENT

Guests must use kitchen facilities, appliances, utensils, and equipment only for their intended purpose and in accordance with applicable instructions.

Outside caterers, suppliers, vendors, and other third-party service providers are not permitted to use Palms La Union kitchen equipment, cooking equipment, appliances, utensils, or other property without prior authorization.

Guests are responsible for damage resulting from improper or unauthorized use.

17. FACILITIES AND AMENITIES

Facilities and amenities are subject to availability, maintenance, weather, safety requirements, and circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Palms La Union.

Temporary interruptions to electricity, water, internet, telecommunications, or other services may occur.

Palms La Union will make reasonable efforts to restore affected services when possible.

18. POOL, BEACH AND JACUZZI

Guests use pools, jacuzzis, beach areas, balconies, stairs, and other facilities responsibly and at their own risk, subject to applicable law.

Guests must follow posted safety rules and instructions from Palms La Union personnel.

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Palms La Union shall not be responsible for incidents resulting from guest negligence, reckless behavior, intoxication, misuse of facilities, or failure to follow safety instructions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

19. WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE

Palms La Union may be affected by typhoons, severe weather, flooding, landslides, earthquakes, government orders, road closures, transportation disruptions, utility failures, public emergencies, and other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

If Palms La Union is unable to safely operate because of such circumstances, the property may modify, suspend, relocate, or cancel affected reservations as reasonably necessary.

If Palms La Union remains open and operational but a guest is unable or unwilling to travel due to weather, traffic, transportation disruption, or personal circumstances, the reservation remains subject to the applicable Refund and Cancellation Policy unless otherwise approved by management.

20. LOST AND FOUND

Guests should immediately report lost or misplaced items.

Found items will be handled according to Palms La Union’s Lost and Found procedures.

Shipping or delivery costs for returning an item may be charged to the guest.

21. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables during their stay.

Guests should use reasonable precautions to secure their belongings.

Palms La Union shall not be responsible for loss of personal property except to the extent required by applicable law.

22. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE A STAY

Subject to applicable law, Palms La Union may refuse accommodation or terminate a stay where reasonably necessary due to serious or repeated violations of these Terms and Conditions, dangerous or abusive behavior, unauthorized occupancy, illegal activity, significant property damage, unauthorized events, fraud, or conduct that places guests, employees, or property at risk.

23. LIABILITY

Palms La Union will take reasonable measures to maintain a safe and properly operated property.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or limit rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded under Philippine law.

24. PRIVACY

Personal information collected through reservations, website use, guest registration, and other interactions with Palms La Union is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable Philippine data privacy laws.

25. WEBSITE INFORMATION

Palms La Union makes reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate and current.

Room photographs, descriptions, amenities, rates, and other information may change from time to time.

Actual room layouts, furnishings, décor, and other details may vary from photographs.

26. PROMOTIONS

Promotions and special offers are subject to their individual terms and conditions.

Promotions may have specific validity periods, blackout dates, occupancy restrictions, payment requirements, and cancellation conditions.

Unless expressly stated, promotions cannot be combined.

27. COMPLAINTS AND CONCERNS

Guests are encouraged to report concerns during their stay so that Palms La Union has a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address the matter.

Guests may contact the property using the official contact details published on our website.

28. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

Any dispute shall first be addressed in good faith between the guest and Palms La Union. Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, applicable Philippine laws and appropriate dispute-resolution mechanisms shall apply.

29. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

30. UPDATES

Palms La Union may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version published on the official Palms La Union website shall apply to future reservations, subject to applicable law and the terms applicable to existing confirmed reservations.

32. ACCEPTANCE

By making a reservation, paying a reservation fee, checking in, or using the property, the guest acknowledges that they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable Palms La Union Booking and Reservation Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
